K-State takes seventh in Puerto Rico

The Kansas State men’s basketball team took seventh place at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off with a 52-38 win over Long Beach State on Sunday morning.

It was the second win over the 49ers this season, and the second game that saw Thomas Gipson lead the Wildcats (3-3) in scoring. The junior forward had 18 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman Marcus Foster scored 10 points.

The Wildcats will be off until next Sunday, when they host Central Arkansas at 3 p.m.
