The Kansas State football team, riding high from its 55-14 victory over West Virginia on Saturday night, maintained it’s ranking at No. 4 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll Sunday.

K-State, however, dropped from one spot to No. 4 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. Florida leapfrogged the Wildcats after its convincing blowout 44-11 win over South Carolina on Saturday.

Notre Dame is behind K-State (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) in both polls at No. 5, followed by LSU at No. 6. Oregon State came in at No. 7 in the AP poll and Oklahoma held that spot in the Coaches poll.

The rest of the AP Top 10 includes the Sooners at No. 8, followed by Ohio State at nine and Southern Cal at 10.

USC, Oregon State and Florida State round spots Nos. 8-10 in the Coaches poll.

Texas Tech, which comes to Manhattan this Saturday for a 2:30 kickoff on FOX, moved up three spots to No. 15 in the AP and sits at No. 17 in the Coaches.

West Virginia, once ranked in the Top 5 two weeks ago, fell all the way to No. 25 in the AP and No. 22 in the USA Today poll.

TCU, which lost 56-53 at home to the Red Raiders Saturday, dropped out of the Coaches poll entirely.
