K-State president’s son to attend Okla. State

By The Mercury

Kids leave home for college all the time. That holds true even if the kid’s dad runs a college.

Manhattan High senior Andrew Schulz, the son of K-State President Kirk Schulz, will attend Oklahoma State University next fall. The decision was announced this week.

Interesting fact: The announcement of the college choice came on Andrew’s Twitter page, for which he uses the name k-state(underscore)andrew, has a K-State background and wears purple in his profile picture.
