K-State partners with Vivid Seats

By The Mercury

Kansas State fans can now enjoy enhanced benefits when looking for tickets to their favorite Wildcat game on the secondary market, as the department announced today a new partnership with Vivid Seats, the nation’s largest independently owned and operated marketplace for live event tickets.

Wildcat fans will also benefit from the elimination of ticket transfer fees through K-State’s Online Ticket Office.

This new partnership, which replaces the Powercat Exchange service previously utilized by the department, will afford fans the opportunity to convert season or single-game ticket orders to digital print-at-home tickets that can then be easily posted for resale by Vivid Seats.

As part of the new agreement, K-State Athletics will receive a percentage of proceeds for all tickets sold through referrals from K-State advertising via the internet, email and social media. Wildcat season ticket holders and Ahearn Fund members will also receive exclusive promotional opportunities throughout the year.
