K-State goes for sweep of Tigers

As was the case against the Wildcats’ previous two opponents, K-State will be going for the season sweep of the Missouri Tigers on Saturday. The Wildcats defeated the Tigers 72-46 in Manhattan on Jan. 11.

K-State, now 18-9 overall and 9-6 in the Big 12, enters the game having won two in a row over Texas and Oklahoma State.

Missouri, meanwhile, has had a rough go this season, with its lone conference win coming last weekend in a 70-65 victory at Kansas. The Tigers, who have lost seven games by single digits, are 11-15 overall and 1-14 in the Big 12.

Saturday’s meeting will be the last regular season contest between both schools as members of the Big 12, as Missouri is set to join the SEC next year.
