K-State baseball alters weekend schedule

K-State has made changes to its baseball schedule for this weekend’s series against No. 21 Cal Poly at Tointon Family Stadium due to the threat of rain.

The teams were set to play now play a doubleheader today, beginning at 2 p.m., with Game 2 of the twin bill starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.

First pitch on Saturday is still scheduled for 2 p.m., but Sunday’s 11 a.m., contest could be played if Saturday’s game is rained out.

Sunday is a Family Day, as fans can purchase a Wildcat 4 Pack that includes four general admission bench tickets and four concession vouchers for $30, while all kids can run the bases after the game.
