Junior Series plays at Manhattan Country Club

The Manhattan Junior Series competed at Manhattan County Club last week in its first event of the season.

Drew Casper had the low score in the boys 14-15 division, shooting 78. Haley Grable had the lowest score in the girls’ side with a 79.

Frank Felber finished second in the boys’ 14-15 slot with a 99, while Will Grogan was third and Josh Abitz was fifth.

Behind Grable in the girls 14-15 division, Kelsie McCarthy shot 100 and tied for second with sister Kylie McCarthy. Emma Devane was fourth with 110 and Taylor Schalles was fifth.

Ethan Holaday win the boys’ 16-17 group with a score of 82, while the girls’ 16-17 was won by Hanna Devane’s 97, and Anna Jackson was second.

In the boys’ 12-13 division, Jackson Schroeder and Dustin Wichman tied for first with nine-hole scores of 50. Wesley Grogan was tied for third with Ben Robben at 54. Nathan McNellis finished in fifth.

Macie Myers finished first in the girls’ 12-13 group with a 63, while Kami Bussman was first in the girls’ 10-11 with a 62.

Josh Bussman was first in the boys’ 10-11 with 39 points, while Luke McNellis was second with a 43 and Avery Brokenicky was third. Stephen McNellis finished first in the boys’ 8-9 group with a 48.
