Junction City man sentenced to 5 years for child pornography

A federal judge on Monday sentenced a Junction City man to 63 months, or more than five years, in prison on a charge of accessing child pornography with intent to view.

Scott Deppish, 43, had previously pleaded guilty to the charge, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney Barry Grissom’s office.

In Deppish’s plea, he admitted that on Feb. 12, 2013, investigators served a search warrant and seized his desktop computer and two external hard drives. Investigators then found images depicting prepubescent children engaged in sexual conduct.
