Jeffrey S. Jacques, 51, of Marysville, died Sunday at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday at the First Christian Church in Marysville.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery.

Jeffrey was born Oct. 19, 1962, at Marysville, son of Ronald and Connie (Freeby) Jacques.

In 1980, he graduated from Marysville High School and then attended Kansas State University.

He worked many years for KNDY, owned and operated the Mixer Liquor Store and worked at the American Legion, all in Marysville.

Jeff enjoyed listening to music and watching movies, participating in Marysville Area Community Theatre, visiting with friends and especially spending time with family and playing with his two nieces.

He was a member of the First Christian Church and Marysville Area Community Theatre.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Connie Jacques, Marysville; brother, Darren (Julie) Jacques and their children, Andrea and Alicia, Topeka.

A memorial fund has been established to the First Christian Church, Marysville Union Pacific Depot Preservation Society or Marysville Area Community Theatre.  Contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary.
