Jeep parts stolen

The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of Jeep parts in Manhattan that reportedly occured in January.

Sheriff Greg Riat said that at about 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 28., at least two unknown suspects removed the fiberglass upper doors from a 1999 Jeep Wrangler thatparked at 7846 Highway U.S. 24 in Manhattan.

Riat said the door tops are removable and look like black canvas material and have sliding hard windows.

He said the dollar loss of this theft will exceed $500.
