Jeanne M. Braddy, 90, of Manhattan, died Wednesday in the loving care of the nurses and staff at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan.

The family provided some of the following information.

She was born July 15, 1923, in Clyde. She was the daughter of Raymond and Mary Caroline (Slipsager) Domino.

Jeanne graduated from Washington High School in 1942.

She was a member of the St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Manhattan.  She was a former member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church and the Altar Society and volunteered at St. Mary Hospital Auxiliary.  Jeanne was a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries and was active with the Singles Dance Club. 

On Jan. 13, 1947, in Manhattan, she was married to Leo F. Braddy. Mr. Braddy preceded her in death on June 12, 1987.  She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Edna York, L. Max Domino and Louis Domino.

Survivors include four children, Carol Frese and her husband Norman of Alta Vista, Tom Braddy and his wife Pam of Topeka, Mark Braddy and his wife Vicky of Emporia, and Bruce Braddy and his wife Jean of Manhattan; two sisters, Gerry Shaw and Millie Buche both of Sun City, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church with the Rev. Don Zimmerman as celebrant.  Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery in Manhattan.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home.
