James Bryn Wagoner, Sr., 79, of Grand View, Idaho, formerly of Manhattan, died on Wednesday at a care center in Boise, Idaho.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home, Idaho.  Arrangements are under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel located at 500 No. 18th East in Mountain Home, Idaho.

The family provided some of the following information.

Jim was born Sept. 14, 1934, to Walter Lynn Wagoner and Ada Berroth-Wagoner in Wamego. Jim married Lois Ruth Isaacson on June 18, 1960, at the home of her parents in St. George.

Jim served in the U.S. Army and spent his adult life working as a journeyman lineman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Jim is survived by his brothers Richard Wagoner of Manhattan and Don Wagoner of Wamego; his daughters Emma Ruth Wagoner and Amanda Rose Wagoner-Fisher, both of Grand View, Idaho; his son James Bryn Wagoner Jr., of Grangeville, Idaho; and his granddaughter Lois Rose Fisher, of Phoenix, Ariz.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Ada Wagoner; his wife Lois Ruth Isaacson-Wagoner; and his grandson Eric Alan Fisher.
