Jacob “Jake” A. (Wilcox) White, 23, of Marysville, formerly of Blue Rapids, died May 23, 2014, in a one vehicle accident.

Jacob is the son of Angie White of Waterville and Bill Wilcox of Blue Rapids. He graduated from Valley Heights High School in 2009. While in high school, he joined the U.S. Army Reserves and later served one tour in Afghanistan.

Jacob worked as a machinist for Titan Trailer in Waterville.

Jacob is survived by his mother Angie and father Bill, his grandmother Virginia White of Blue Rapids, two brothers; Michael Wilcox of Marysville and Billy Jo Wilcox of Blue Rapids, a sister; Mendy Wilcox of Barnes, by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to the Jacob White Memorial Fund and may be sent in care of Terry-Christie Funeral Home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.

A memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7 at the Grade School Gymnasium in Blue Rapids.

A private inurnment at Prospect Hill Cemetery will be held at a later date. Services arranged by Terry-Christie Funeral Home, Waterville.
