Invasive tree, weed control field day

Foley Equipment will host an invasive tree and weed control field day at the Pottawatomie County State Park, north of Westmoreland from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 17. 

The event includes lunch.

A number of educational and technical presentations on tree and weed control as part of pasture reclamation will be given by local experts from Pottawatomie County Weed Control, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and Kansas State University.

The field day event also includes hands-on equipment demonstrations of a variety of skid steers and attachments including tree saws, shears, brush cutters and mulchers.
