Injury accident Tuttle Creek Boulevard

A 33-year-old man was hospitalized following a one-vehicle accident Saturday evening at the intersection of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Melgren Lane.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Bradley Remmers was driving his mini-van when he lost control and drove into the ditch, striking a fence and tree line.

Kyle said Remmers, who uses a wheelchair, told police that his vehicle’s control system stopped working properly, leading to the crash.

Riley County EMS transported Remmers and a passenger to Mercy Regional Health Center. Kyle said Remmers had facial cuts while the passenger reported back pain.
