A Manhattan man was transported to Irwin Army Hospital Thursday after being involved in a car crash on K-18 near Scenic Drive.

Lt. Josh Kyle said that Stuart Mason, 23, was driving his black 2007 Chevrolet Impala westbound on K-18 when he allgedly hit a blue 2008 Ford F-150 pick-up truck driven by Andrew Trinidad, 30, Manhattan, who had failed to yield the right-of-way when crossing the westbound lanes of K-18 from Scenic Drive.

Riley County EMS transported Mason for neck and back pain. Officers cited Trinidad for failure to yield the right-of-way from a stop sign.
