Injury accident on Frontage Road

A 25-year-old man was transported to the hospital after his car flipped onto its roof in a single-car accident late Saturday night in the 700 block of Frontage Road.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Cameron Galvan, 25, Manhattan, ran his gold 2004 Pontiac Grand Am off the road after he tried to negotiate a curve at a high rate of speed. Galvan hit a fire hydrant and a light pole, before his car flipped onto its roof.

Kyle said Galvan left the scene of the accident on foot, but was later found by officers. Kyle said alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor to the accident and that the results of a DUI investigation are pending.

Galvan was taken to Mercy Regional Health Center for unknown injuries by the police.
