One woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fort Riley Boulevard and South Manhattan Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Officer Matthew Droge said Pauline Adolph, 85, Manhattan, complained of neck and head pain after the Dodge Intrepid she was traveling in was struck by a Dodge Caravan driven by Heather Brazzle, 38, Manhattan.

Droge said Adolph was traveling south on South Manhattan Avenue when she was struck by Brazzle who had been traveling west on Fort Riley Boulevard. Droge said Brazzle reportedly failed to yield at a red light, for which she was cited.

The accident occurred at about 1:40 p.m.
