Injury Accident on Fort Riley Boulevard

By Katherine Wartell

A 47-year-old man was treated for shoulder and abdominal pain at Mercy Regional Health Center June 15 after overturning a trailer on Fort Riley Boulevard.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Sal Tucker was driving his 1991 Ford F-150 with an attached trailer westbound in the 550 block of Fort Riley Boulevard when a trailer wheel went off the road and became stuck in mud. The trailer was turned perpendicular to the road and subsequently was overturned. Kyle said it blocked both lanes of traffic. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
