Injury accident on College Avenue

A woman was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon for minor injuries following a two-car accident at the intersection of College and Dickens avenues.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Judith Sholes, 46, Chapman, was driving her gold Pontiac Grand Am northbound on College Avenue when she reportedly ran into the rear of a white Toyota Camry driven by Diana Meyer, Wichita, who was stopped and attempting to make a left turn onto Dickens Avenue.

Riley County EMS transported Sholes to Mercy Regional Health Center for a cut to her hand.

The accident occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m.

Kyle said there is no indication either driver was cited.
