Indians take fourth on Thursday

The Indians competed in the Salina South Invitational on Thursday, finishing fourth out of eight teams.

Kenton Hallowell went 3-1 and placed third in the meet in singles, losing to a competitor from Abilene in the semifinals. He matched up with that same competitor in the first round on Saturday in Junction City.

Jake Seaton lost his quarterfinal match in singles, but came back to finish fifth with a 3-1 record on the day. Seaton also lost to a player from Abilene.

Dustin Hayes and Riley Ratliff finished seventh out of 16 teams in the doubles competition, dropping matches to Salina Central and Andover. JT Turnley and Sam Hong finished 13th and also went 2-2.
