The Manhattan High girls’ soccer team landed six on the Centennial League all-league teams to end the season, led by two first-team selections.

Par McNair at midfielder and Ally Taylor at defender were each named to the all-Centennial first team, while Kelsey Schroll (F), Maddie Taylor (F), Lani Fischer (D) and Molly Fiser (GK) each netted second-team honors.

The first team was dominated by Washburn Rural and Hayden, which combined for eight of the 19 first-team selections, voted on by the league’s coaches.

Topeka High’s Jerimiah Lavelle was named coach of the year, while Seaman received the league’s team sportsmanship award.

Manhattan, which ended its season with a 2-1 loss to Rural in the state quarterfinals, finished the year with a 14-5 record.
