Howard D. Tubbs, 76, of Manhattan, died Sunday at Mercy Hospital in Manhattan.

He was born on Feb. 22, 1938, in Sedgwick County. He was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church. He owned and operated Custom Cabinet Shop over 35 years in Manhattan. Howard later worked at Kansas State University and retired in December of 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Dolores Tubbs; three step-children, Danny Inzurriaga, Patti Murphy and Ronnie Inzurriaga; and brother, Marlin W. Wilson.

Howard’s wishes were to be cremated. He will be buried at a later date in Waynoka, Okla.
