Harms has been a tenacious advocate for our community

To the Editor:
We need to support Rod Harms for Riley County commissioner. He will bring balance, business skills and a useful professional background as a planner to the County Commission.

His experience founding and directing Civitas — a successful land restoration, erosion control and straw-bale home construction business that has employed more than 100 K-State students over 10 years — brought jobs and contributed to the community and the university in Riley County.

Rod Harms’ diverse range of community activity gives him the breadth of experience and knowledge to lead the county as it faces diverse issues in the future. Rod is a good listener, thoughtful decision-maker and a tenacious advocate for the well being of our environment and community. Vote for Rod Harms.
