Hanover tops Frankfort 68-16

By The Mercury

At Frankfort, the Frankfort Wildcats ended their season by losing to the second-place team in their District in Hanover.

In a matchup of Wildcats, it was Hanover that scored early and often, winning 68-16 heading into next week’s state playoffs.

It was a difficult season for Frankfort, which had just eight games on its schedule for the second straight season. The Wildcats won their third game of the year over Veritas Christian, and then won on the road last week in Hampton, Neb. They finished the season 2-6, winless in both Twin Valley League and district play.
