The executive board of the Greater Manhattan Community Foundation has promoted Vern Henricks president and CEO, and promoted Marla Brandon to vice president of finance.
Henricks has served as CEO since starting with the Foundation in February.
Henricks earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at K-State.
Brandon began serving as finance manager in December of 2012.
She came to the Foundation with more than 20 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Brandon grew up in Manhattan and received a bachelor’s degree from Friends University and a master’s degree in business administration from Baker University.
Brandon also serves on the board of directors of the Manhattan Area Technical College and is currently a member of the Flint Hills Regional Leadership class. She has served as an adjunct instructor for K-State and currently serves as an adjunct instructor at Highland Community College and the University of Mary.
