To the Editor: Yes, it’s happening again. Spring is arriving in colors soft and vibrant. New leaves are activating, and with them comes the 13th annual Enid Stover Memorial Poetry Recitation. It will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium at Manhattan Public Library. Remember a poem for your pocket; bring your favorite ode, your newest haiku.
If possible, have your poem memorized so it is totally yours, though reading a poem is also fine. Come to recite or to listen and share refreshments and participate in a poetry book raffle.
How e’er you feel, come be the voice and breath of the people in the words of our times among the roses upstairs in the city library Sunday afternoon. Nancy Stover 420 Colorado St.
