Freeman leads Bucs to OT win



Former Kansas State quarterback Josh Freeman led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 27-21 come-from-behind win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.

Freeman finished 25 of 46 with 248 yards and three touchdowns. Down 21-10, Freeman led the team on two scoring drives in the last five minutes, including a 24-yard touchdown pass with less than 30 seconds to play, and hit a 2-point conversion to force overtime.

The Buccaneers won the game when Freeman threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Dallas Clark.

Brandon Banks rushed one time for 6 yards, caught a pass for no gain and returned three punts in the Washington Redskins 31-6 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Rob Jackson had three tackles and a sack.

The Green Bay Packers got three catches for 45 yards out of Jordy Nelson in their 24-20 win over the Detroit Lions.

William Powell rushed four times for 10 yards in the Arizona Cardinals 23-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Reggie Walker finished with three tackles.

Emmanuel Lamur had one tackled for the Cincinnati Bengals in a 28-6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
