Frankfort teams open TVL tourney with losses

In Washington, After taking an 11-point halftime lead in the opening round of the Twin Valley League boys’ tournament on Saturday, No. 4-seeded Baileyville B&B and No. 13-seeded Frankfort both slowed down the scoring in the second half, with just 19 combined points the rest of the way.

But B&B still picked up the 45-33 victory to advance and play fifth-seeded Hanover on Monday.

Lucas Adams led the Wildcats with 12 points, with Brett Kenworthy and Adam Koch each adding seven points.

Frankfort will play its first of two consolation games this week against Blue Valley on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
