Frankfort boys win 1A regional

The Frankfort Wildcats won the Class 1A Lincoln regional on Saturday, finishing with 30 points as a team. Wetmore finished in second with 39.

Adam Koch won the race in a time of 17:37.97, with Keith Huddleston (8th, 19:53.17), Noah Suther (10th, 20:00.35) and Alex Roeder (11th, 20:18.79) making up the four-member team score. Sheldon Parthemer (19th, 20:48.65) and Rylen Bailey (20th, 20:48.93) also finished in the top 20.

Also qualifying for state from the regional was Valley Heights’ Adrian Pishny (4th, 19:00.30).

In the girls’ race, Valley Heights’ Miranda Ohlde (11th, 20:13.18) qualified for state in Wamego this weekend.
