Four arrested in JC drug bust

JUNCTION CITY — Four people were arrested on drug charges following the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana and hand guns, among other illegal items.

The Junction City-Geary County Drug Operations Group, along with police officers executed a search warrant on Tuesday at 124 S. Adams St. in Junction City after a meth distribution investigation.

Authorities arrested Currin Ayer, 26; Jennifer Holter, 33; Wilfried Meyer, 47; and Michael Meyer, 25, all of Junction City.

The Drug Operations Group seized meth, marijuana, three handguns, hallucinogenic mushrooms, cash and drug paraphernalia from the residence.

Ayer was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and felony possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also arrested on a Riley County warrant for possession of hallucinogens and endangering a child.

Holter was also charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and felony possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a hallucinogenic and possession of marijuana.

Both Wilfired Meyer and Michael Meyer were each charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

The four are confined at the Geary County Detention Center pending first appearances in Geary County District Court.
