Former employee arrested for burglary

Riley County officers arrested a St. George man Monday for allegedly stealing money and checks from his former employer, Kansas Air Center.

James Lee Henry, 34, was arrested for burglary after the owner of Kansas Air Center, 5490 Fort Riley Blvd., reported that $1,503 and checks had been stolen from the business.

Lt. Josh Kyle said the items were taken from a cash box and safe over multiple incidents. He said the owner had taken security precautions after one incident, which led the owner to believe the burglar was Henry.

Kyle said the money and checks were recovered.

Henry was released from the Riley County Jail on $1,000 bond.
