Forget compromise; our cost-cutting is long overdue

To the Editor:
I have a different view as concerns your Sunday piece on Sequestration.
You lament the two political parties for political posturing,  “instead of scrambling for 11th-hour solutions that would involve compromises.” I say who needs compromise, at least now we have some cost-cutting, thank you Mr. President.
