The K-State Alumni Association has released more details on the fan activities for the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz.
The pep rally for the K-State football team will take place TBD Wednesday, Jan. 2 at Chase Field, 401 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix. It is free and open to the public.
The football team, coaches, band, cheerleaders, university dignitaries and Willie the Wildcat will participate. Transportation to and from the pep rally is included in the Alumni Association’s travel packages.
The K-State Bowl Bash, a post-pep rally event, will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of the pep rally, also at Chase Field.
The pep rally and the K-State Bowl Bash are included in the Association’s travel packages. Wildcat fans who missed out on the Association’s travel packages still have the opportunity to join their fellow K-Staters at the Association’s pep rally, a free event, and the K-State Bowl Bash.
Fans traveling to Arizona on their own will be able to make reservations online for the bowl bash at k-state.com/bowlbash13 or by calling 800-600-ALUM (2586).
Adult tickets are $60 and include a buffet meal and two drink tickets. Children tickets (ages 4-17) are $35. Space is limited. Advance registration for the K-State Bowl Bash is required by noon Thursday, Dec. 20.
