FHSC Fury wins Lawrence tourney

The Flint Hills Soccer Club (FHSC) Fury won the 14-and-under gold division of the Kaw Valley Soccer Association tournament this past weekend in Lawrence.

The Fury went 2-1 in pool play.  They lost their first game 4-1 to the Kansas City Nemesis FC Dominion, but won their next two games against the Topeka Arsenal and the KVSA Club Select Vasco — both by scores of 7-0.

In the championship game, the Fury faced the Nemesis FC Dominion once again. This time the Fury won 1-0 to become U14 Champions. 

Fury players include Gardner Blanck, Jake Bussmann, Jaden Cady, Tanner Dillon, Austin French, Casey Hoffman, Kirkland Lambert, Mitchell Pearsall, Jace Priddle, Brandon Religa, Jacob Richards, Ben Turnley, Matt Turnley, Wesley Whitney, Justin Wickham and Riley Zimmerman. 

The FHSC Fury are coached by Bill Turnley and Scott French.
