FHSC Fury win Kansas City Cup

The Flint Hills Soccer Club (FHSC) Fury won the 14-and-under division of the Kansas City Cup this past weekend in held in Raytown, Mo.

The Fury was 2-1 in pool play.  They defeated Sedalia FC 6-0 and Futura FC Verona 2-0. The Fury lost 3-2 to Kansas City Nemesis FC Dominion. They played Nemesis FC Dominion again in the championship game and won 5-4 in penalty kicks after a 0-0 tie in regulation.

For the weekend, the Fury posted three shutouts in four games.

Fury players include Gardner Blanck, Jake Bussmann, Jaden Cady, Jacob Clark, Tanner Dillon, Austin French, Casey Hoffman, Kirkland Lambert, Mitchell Pearsall, Jace Priddle, Brandon Religa, Jacob Richards, Ben Turnley, Matt Turnley, Wesley Whitney, Justin Wickham and Riley Zimmerman. 

The Fury are coached by Bill Turnley, Nick de Souza and Scott French.
