FHSC Earthquakes win KC tourney

The 12-and-under Flint Hills Soccer Club Earthquakes won the Challenger Cup Tournament this past weekend in Kansas City.

Earthquakes played Sporting Blue Valley Cruz Azul in the championship game that ended in a 1-1 tie and was determined by a penalty kick shootout with the Earthquakes winning 3-2 in kicks.

The Earthquakes record is now 12-1-1 for the spring season.

Earthquakes players include Joey Crespino, Trace Dillon, Hunter French, Carson Gros, Dylan Haar, Mitchell Hutchinson, Matthew Long, Josh Priddle, Aidan Proctor, Brett Seaton, Michael Turnley and Luke Wichmann. The team is coached by Bill Turnley and Scott French.
