FHSC Earthquakes take second

The Flint Hills Soccer Club (FHSC) Earthquakes came in second in the 11-and-under division of the Kansas City Cup on this past weekend. 

They were 1-0-1 in pool play, tying 1-1 with Summit Soccer Club Manchester United and defeating Unified FC Cosmos 3-0.

In the semifinals, the Earthquakes beat Lee’s Summit Crush 4-1. The Earthquakes lost 4-1 in the championship game to the Blue Valley SC Tornadoes-Lightning.

Earthquakes players include Joey Crespino, Trace Dillon, Hunter French, Carson Gros, Dylan Haar, Mitch Hutchinson, Matthew Long, Josh Priddle, Aidan Proctor, Brett Seaton, Michael Turnley and Luke Wichmann.

The team is coached by Bill Turnley and Scott French.
