FHSC Earthquakes take first

The Flint Hills Soccer Club (FHSC) Earthquakes won the 13-and-under gold division of the Sporting Kaw Valley Cup last weekend in Lawrence.

The Earthquakes went 2-0-1 in pool play by beating the Wichita Rojos 2-0, tying the FHSC Scorpions 1-1 and winning 1-0 against Sporting Kaw Valley Arsenal.

In the championship game, the Earthquakes shut out the Wichita Rojos 2-0.

Earthquakes players include Joey Crespino, Trace Dillon, Hunter French, Carson Gros, Dylan Haar, Parker Hafen, Cole Herpich, Parker Holborn, Ben Hulsmeyer, Cade Hupp, Max Kiracofe, Mitch Hutchinson, Matthew Long, Josh Priddle, Aidan Proctor, Brett Seaton, Michael Turnley and Luke Wichmann.

The team is coached by Bill Turnley, Scott French, and Troy Dillon.
