FHSC Attack wins fourth straight tournament

The FHSC Attack 9-and-under boys soccer team won its fourth consecutive tournament this past weekend — taking the top division at the Nutmeg Tournament in Kansas City, Mo. 

The Attack won all four of their matches and outscored the competition 27-3.  In pool play, the Attack won 4-1 against the Unified FC Galaxy, 10-0 against the Nike Rush and 5-0 against the Ray-Pec Gators.

In the championship, the Attack defeated the Topeka Select Comets 7-2.  The Attack also repeated as champions at the Governor’s Cup the previous weekend in Topeka.

Players for the Attack include Myles Ferguson, Ibrahim Ciftci, Justin Li, Alex Boyle, Ian Clark, Daniel Cortez, Marwan El-Sotouhy, Andreas Delort and Grant Ayers.  The Attack is coached by Stephen Ferguson.
