Equipment fails phone system



Cox Business VoiceManager customers in Manhattan experienced an outage of their phone service Tuesday morning.

Coleen Jennison, director of government affairs at Cox Communications, said the problems affected some markets that extend beyond Kansas. As of press time, the issue still hadn’t been resolved, and Jennison said workers were fixing an equipment issue causing the outage.

Residential service in the area was not affected.
