EMS volleyball competes in quad

The Eisenhower Middle School volleyball A team competed in a quadrangular this past Thursday at Anthony Middle School in Manhattan.

The Eagles lost to Seaman in two games (12-25, 13-25). Hana Tamura led the team with five service points and Mia Pariona added four. Addy Stone had six digs.

EMS then defeated Fort Riley 25-13 and 25-8. Cody Ballou had nine service points in a row in the first game. Mackenzie Pease scored 21 points for the match. Tamura had three kills and Hannah Religa added two.

The Eagles were then swept by Anthony Middle School (23-25,14-25). Religa had 12 service points and Pease added 10. Tamura had two kills and two blocks. Stone had four digs.

The B team went 1-2 on Thursday, losing to Seaman (18-25, 25-20, 13-15), Anthony (20-25, 15-25) and then defeating Fort Riley (25-18, 25-16).

Eisenhower Middle School returns to action Thursday when it travels to Emporia.
