EMS splits with Seaman

The Eisenhower Middle School eighth-grade girls’ basketball team lost to Topeka Seaman 27-15 on Thursday. The Eagles took a 10-7 lead into the half, but Seaman outscored EMS 9-2 in the third quarter to take the lead for good. Liz Wilson scored seven points, with LaNajia Sanders and Jaylie Thornton each scoring three for the A team.

The B team beat Seaman in a tight game, 16-15. The Eagles did not trail during the game and held on at the end to pull out the win. Rayleene Stone led with six points, with Madison Johnson scoring four.
