Eisenhower sweeps Fort Riley

The Eisenhower Middle School eighth grade girls’ basketball team swept Fort Riley on Thursday.  The A team won in dominating fashion, 41-7. 

Cailey Perkins had a season-high 10 assists to go along with her four points.  Therriana Pittman led all scorers with a season-high 20 points.  Hana Tamura scored six points, while Tessa Irvine added four points.

The B team won a close game 19-18 with Zaria Oates making the game-winning free throw with less than a second remaining in regulation.  Cody Ballou and Eilish MacCharles scored four points apiece, while Zaria Oates had three points. Sydney Smith and Hannah Religa had two points each.

Eisenhower will be competing for the Little Apple Championship against Anthony on Tuesday night.
