Eisenhower Middle School falls to Washburn Rural

The Eisenhower Middle School football team lost a close game Tuesday to Washburn Rural, 18-14.

James Wilson scored a touchdown in the game on a 12-yard pass from Parker Beer. The two-point conversion was scored on a run by Keiadrain McDonald.

McDonald also added a touchdown of his own later on when he scored from 5 yards out.

The EMS B team won its game, 30-6 on Tuesday.

Chase Dillon scored on a 6-yard touchdown run, followed by a safety scored by Sam Edwards.

Hunter Christiansen then recovered a fumble and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown. TariQ Gerald ran in the two-point conversion.

EMS then notched its second safety of the game before Dillon started to put the game out of reach with a 45-yard TD run.

Stephen Wilson capped the EMS scoring with a 25-yard run.

The EMS C team game finished in a tie at 8-8.

EMS’ lone score came on a 2-yard touchdown run from Sam Edwards and a two-point conversion run by Brent Ekin.
