Eisenhower loses to Emporia

The Eisenhower Middle School eighth grade girls’  basketball team lost its second straight game on Tuesday, falling to Emporia 24-19.

With the loss, Eisenhower is now to 6-2 on the season. Emporia held off a furious fourth-quarter rally by the Eagles to win the game. 

Cailey Perkins and Therriana Pittman scored six points each, while Tessa Irvine had four points.

The B team lost 27-11.  Hannah Religa scored seven points, while Kia Martin had four points.
