With winter on the way, a Kansas State University veterinarian says dog owners have plenty of options to keep their furry friends comfortable and happy—even when the weather turns nasty “A general rule of thumb is if it is too cold for you outside, it is too cold for your dog,” said Susan Nelson, a clinical associate professor and veterinarian at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine’s Pet Health Center.
