Dunkin’ Donuts coming to town

By The Mercury

Sometimes good things come in threes.

Dunkin’ Donuts is coming to the Manhattan area, and franchisees Alison Leiszler-Bridges and Samantha Liby are planning to open three restaurants.

Leiszler-Bridges said they hope the first restaurant will open during the first half of 2015, but they haven’t yet found a location. She said construction will begin as soon as they purchase land.

“We’ve looked at all sides of town,” she said. “We’re looking to secure land right now.”

Leiszler-Bridges said the other two restaurants will open by 2017.

Dunkin’ Donuts is also expanding in other parts of Kansas with plans for nine new restaurants in Wichita and two new restaurants in Topeka.
