Duluth man dies in late-night rollover accident

A 45-year-old Duluth man died after he was ejected from a vehicle that rolled over two miles east of the Duluth Church on Duluth Road.

Ronald L. Shelton was identified as the victim in the accident believed to have happened overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

At 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about the injury accident. Deputies, EMS workers and firefighters responded to the scene where the driver way lying outside the vehicle.

The driver was believed to be the vehicle’s only occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

According to a report from Pottawatomie County Sheriff Greg Riat, Shelton was not wearing a seat belt.
