A 21-year-old woman was transported to Mercy Regional Health Center for a possible broken ankle after she was involved in an accident at the intersection of Fort Riley Boulevard and Fourth Street at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Lt. Josh Kyle said Chelsea Shoemaker, Wamego, was driving her teal 1994 Toyota Corolla westbound on Fort Riley Boulevard when Dui Wang, 36, Manhattan, driving a red 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, turned left without yielding to Shoemaker.

Riley County EMS transported Shoemaker for her ankle injury.

Officers cited Wang for failure to yield the right-of-way while making a left turn.
